HMC FAST app for iPhone and iPad

HMC FAST is a formative assessment tool to support observational assessment in clinical and other real world settings. Users are paired up as someone who is performing an observable task (student), and someone who is observing the task being performed and evaluating the performance (mentor). HMC FAST provides an adaptive engine which tracks performance across time and adds new items to be evaluated once mastery has been achieved on existing items. HMC FAST currently allows evaluation of Medical Residents by Attending physicians, but will be expanded in the future to provide a fully customizable formative assessment for many different types of observational evaluations.
